what's a VCR?

ahh....remember the days of having video-tapes? no? nowadays it's all DVD's and VCD's...i wonder if in 50 years time they'll just have movies on devices the size of a USB....it seems everything these days is getting smaller and smaller and smaller....even our houses are down-sizing, families are getting smaller, from computers to laptops, even down to mini M&Ms!
