i hate hiccups

ever tried having a violent attack of hiccups while suffering from a blocked nose at the same time?

not pretty.

why is it that my hiccups always come at the randomest times? i could be walking around in a shopping centre- and then all of a sudden i get the hiccups. and, what's worse is that they're always really big ones. Everytime i hiccup, i jump a feet into the air and if it happens when i take a breath (very often!) i end up with a coughing fit...and i've tried everything to stop them- drinking water, holding my breath, being scared, but nothing works!
