Abbotsleigh Carol Service - Sunday 4th December



A hot night, but nevertheless full of beautiful carols! My first and last carol service ever, and it was a night to remember! Kiki sang like an angel in her solo bit and I thoroughly enjoyed singing "To us a Child is Born!" by JS Bach. A big thanks to everyone for a fantastic night!

North Sydney Girls Carol Service - Tuesday 6th December



The church was sooo beautiful and gothic. Now here's a church to have a wedding in! The singing wasn't bad, but my most favourite part was when the string orchestra started playing Canon in D. I was in ecstasy just sitting there listening to them!!! ahhh of all my favourite instrumental pieces....

Last Day of Yr11

It was sooo sad today with Ms G. (our 4u maths teacher) AND Mrs S. (previous yr8 and yr9 year coordinator) leaving among other teachers. I was already close to tears after Ms G.'s speech and when Mrs S. said "I feel confident in leaving this year because next year's yr12s (that's us) are going to be just fine and they're like my very own children..." I started crying. I think i'm going to be a running tap next year when it's OUR farewells!! *sigh* Why are all the good teachers leaving us??

Right at the end of final assembly, i got called up to the stage. I was thinking, "what???!!" and feeling very unsure of why i was being called up. Anyway, it turns out i won the "Most Outstanding Year 11 Student" Prize from the University of Western Sydney! what a shock! everyone who saw me afterwards can testify that i spent the next 15 minutes with my mouth open looking stupid. hahaha! i still can't believe it =)
