that time of the year again

ahhh assessments ALL OVER!! my last one for the year was on wednesday- but unfortunately we're not allowed to bludge the last week of school... i'm still learning stuff in most subjects... sigh..

i just got totally freaked out when i searched my own name in google... it's a scary realisation that i've been so stupidly carefree about my own details on the web- may this be a warning to all of you reading this!! be very VERY careful about what personal information you give out!!! i'm surprised nothing horrible hasn't happened to me yet...

I got a job offer for the holidays to create a website for this health organisation. yesterday i met up with the president for a first meeting to discuss what he wanted on the website. i was soo nervous, but i wore my blazer, and made sure my collar was done right and that everything looked presentable. it went quite well! i'm really looking forward to doing this, not just for the money but coz it's gonna be a really worthwhile experience, especially to see whether this is what i want to do later in life.

the EYF online library catalogue i'm doing for my software major project is coming along nicely. it took me at least 2 hours to put all the details of all the books into an excel spreadsheet, as well as record all the previous borrowings ... now i never want to see that library box ever again! i reckon it's at least 10kg coz i can barely carry it... great big hulky thing sitting in my living room.

i'm getting baptised on 18th december!! proper invitations are coming really soon, but of course everyone's invited to be a witness to my public declaration of following Christ... it's going to be so exciting!
