Leader's Intro @ EYF

Friday night was the first EYF of the year! It was exciting to see lots of youth turn up, and we had a nice relaxing night with singing, games, leader's intro and small group time- and very nice supper provided by the parents!

Sham and Doug did a great job with the leader's intro - it looked so pro! haha I suppose that's the advantage of having artsy people like architects teaming up with nerdy people like...musicians? well Doug's nerdy anyhow =P

We each had to send in a baby photo, plus 3 quirky things about ourselves and the youth had to try guess which leader was who. This was mine:



3 quirky things:
- I sniff food before consumption (especially fruit)
- My middle name is Bernadette
- I get emotionally attached to pieces of furniture (when I was little, I cried when my parents sold my favourite sofa)

hehe some of the other strange things I learned about my fellow leaders:
- Clare gets free toilet paper every month
- lil Joey talks to himself when he thinks no one is watching (ahh that explains a lot... =P)
- Shirley sleeps with her eyes open
- Cliff has one leg shorter than the other
- big Joey has crazy friends, like the guy who stapled his nipples for fun?!

oh and never ever accept a drink from Kevin. Who knows, it might have salt, soy sauce, margarine or wasabi in it!
