as wise as Solomon

great study at EYF last night - we looked at different wisdom literature that's found in the Bible, eg from Psalms, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes... reminded me of the lesson from Sunday School where we learnt about different (insert french accent here) "genre" ... some of the passages were a little confusing and depressing - "meaningless! meaningless! everything is meaningless!" but we came to the conclusion in the end that all meaning, wisdom and knowledge is found only in knowing, fearing and obeying the one true God.

After a week of being literally isolated and cut off from the world...it was nice to be able to socialise again...home felt uncomfortably a bit like a prison...ahh if only i could drive! but yeah, EYF was great, it's always soo encouraging to talk to brothers and sisters and catch up with what's been happening...i don't know how i'd be able to make it through the week if it weren't for the knowledge that fridays means EYF and that means having fellowship!
